Why become an official CMI member organization?

CMI can be a reliable bridge for your community projects to broaden your organizations capabilities.  If your organization wants to improve your community or any community in the world, CMI can support your project in effective ways with helpful resources. You can also support current CMI community projects around the world. Also, CMI will share ideas and inspiration for future community projects with your organization.

How to become a CMI member organization

It is a very simple procedure.

If you are a non-profit organization, church or community service organization and are in agreement with CMI values, download and complete the Official CMI Membership Request Form below. Please submit it with $50 non-refundable one time registration fee. CMI will review and contact you as soon as possible.

CMI helps member organizations with local community projects. Primarily this is done through a community project grant which matches funds with the member organizations up to $500. CMI grants are awarded based on the purpose of the project, if it aligns with CMI values and the availibility of funds. Grants are only available to CMI official member organizations. When considering applying for this grant as a CMI member, please review the CMI values. If the project meets these criteria, download and complete the CMI Project Request Form. CMI will review and inform your organization if they are approved for the grant. CMI requires membership of at least six months to be eligible for the grant, and financial support of CMI. Grant requests will not be accepted that are within less than 90 days of the community project.
